Hi, I'm having trouble creating a fishbone parquet floor. What is the best way to go about designing this? I know there are a few different options but none are very straightforward. Thanks for your help!

If I'm not mistaken 'fishbone' is the same as 'herringbone'. The easiest way is to find the pattern in the wood section of premium materials. If you find a wood grain in inventory or have a wood grain you want to use, load the high quality jpeg as 2D model. Load as texture>custom map....use the actual picture dimensions 1080x1920 etc (DO NOT convert to cm/mm/ft/in etc) Then choose the room floor and use guide lines to make evenly spaced sections, then draw the lines. In each section apply the uploaded material and then in right side menu adjust according to your preference.

The attached picture is an example of a wood grain found in the HS inventory applied in the 'tile flooring' interface. I made even squares and rotated the material to line up the way I wanted it to.
