how to change material dimensions ( scale, move horizontally or vertically) on a customized walls?-设计答疑-Homestyler Forum

Hi,

When I started using homestyler a few months ago it was easy to change the material scale, rotation, move it horizontally or vertically. Find screenshot below of my old designs and the settings that used to appear. I upload my own materials and i need to customized the walls so it looks like panels.

Now, since the new update i am no longer able to change the material dimensions. As you can see when i click on the material i no longer see those blue dots that appear in the picture above.

Even if i go to to the customized wall section and try to change my material dimensions i can't. As you can see in the screenshot below my material looks blurry and like it has lots of lines but it's not like that. It looks like that because i need to change the dimensions so it will fit in the area properly like i used to be able to do before.

Does anyone know to change the material in a customized wall since this program update? Keep in mind i upload my own materials (2d textures) as well.

Hi, So i finally found out how to change wall material settings in a customized wall. You need to click on customized wall, then click on the material and then click on "go to tile flooring" (find screenshot attached) once there you click again on the material you want to adjust and then you will be able to see all the settings to adjust it (scale, rotation, move)

Yh, I hope someone found a solution. I even tried to contact homestyler support but they keep telling to change material on the customize wall section which it wasn't useful. @ Grace Simmons

I find customized walls to be problematic also. I tend to use custom modeling, its much easier to work with especially when it comes to materials. Hope you get an answer. Looking forward to the replies.
