How to delete a floor/level?-设计答疑-Homestyler Forum

Hi all,

I created a project of 4 floors, the first was supposed to be a basement. Previously, it was not possible to create a basement level. Now it has appeared, and I would like to delete the first level, which is now empty for me. I removed the floor, walls. The level looks empty, but the level itself is not deleted and my house is hanging in the air. I can delete the fourth level, a trash icon appears next to it, but the previous three levels do not have such an icon. What to do???

You probably can't delete the '1st' floor because the system recognizes it as the starting point for the design. Make sure you are showing all levels when trying to delete a floor. You can put the walls/floor back in then move all your furniture (easier to group together first) down one level and delete the uppermost floor. Or move your basement up to the '1st floor and then delete the basement. It is a whole lot of work but its probably the only way to fix it. Try sending an inquiry to HS support, it may take them a wile to answer but they can possibly supply you with a better answer.
