Hey guys, Anobody knows if it's possible to create round openings in the walls ? I tried using the extrude tool to get though, but its doesn't work. Thanks for any help, - CH

You can tile both the HS and custom modeling walls, it just depends on how the tile material is loaded. You need to be able to adjust the scale and verticle/horizontal. Not all HS tile materials are dually adjustable. If you have a specific tile material, make sure that it is a very high quality 'seamless' jpeg, a large size #px X #px and upload as either a custom map or plane wallpaper. Tile the custom wall 1st and then adjust the tile material of the HS walls separately. Its a lot of trial and error but it can be done. I just prefer not to be bothered😉 @ Christian Heudens

But as Grace pointed out, none of these methods work for tiled walls :( AKA why we really need to be able to drill holes in walls directly !

Delete the HS wall and use custom modeling to make the entire wall. @ Christian Heudens

Was able to somehow workaround this by creating a cube in front of a wall, and carving a hole in it, while the wall behind has a big door opening to let the light in. But that's messy ! Anybody knows if there is a right way to drill holes in walls ?

But as Grace pointed out, none of these methods work for tiled walls :( AKA why we really need to be able to drill holes in walls directly !

Ok, with the help of @ Grace Simmons, Right window is the method 3 from the thread, a big window, a square in front of it, modeled with a hole in it & extruded. Left window is a custom round window I made in SketchUp. The modeling method described by Grace requires extra steps. But works. The SketchUp model is faster, but has bugs. When uploaded you can't change the thickness of the window (it's grayed out in Homestyler), and when it matches the wall width, there is an artifact when rendered. Just wished we simply could punch holes in walls directly like in SketchUp !
