Adding a light band under a piece of furniture-Questions&Answers-Homestyler Forum

Does anyone know how to add a light band under a piece of furniture I have a wall-mounted bathroom vanity and I am trying to add a light band under the bottom side at the front. Thank you.

Catalog search 'cement block', change to desired measurements/change materials to 'luminous material'. For something round, use 'earthy tones background wall' or round coffee table w/o legs! Try a flush ceiling light. Custom modeling--custom floor is great for platforms, you just have to make the shape a group & then in roam/3D or plane view unlock it & handles will appear so you can move it around. Good luck.

But you have the option to show the furniture at customize tool. Then you use guide lines to mark where you want to draw. Use the mesures of the furniture to help you.

Thank you. I have tried to do that. The problem is that the customize tool does not detect the shapes of furniture, so drawing a shape under the furniture to coincide with the furniture itself is almost impossible. @ Ana Paula Castro

Use the customize tool to draw some shape under you furniture then add a light band to it.
