I am confused when trying to use the outside area? I can't seem to find anything explaining and it is really frustraiting. Please help.

Oh, your design is two stories? That is going to be a problem... Maybe use floor openings? @ Geri Ann Cayer

That option is not there. It tells me to go to the upper floor and edit floor... ?? Still confussed

Why can't you just create it where we can DELETE the ceiling? You know... I never had an issue before. All I had to do was delete it. Things are getting too complicating. I built my outside as building rooms for my landscape area. That was how I always did it. Then I would delete the ceiling. NOW.... you have a new thing to create an outside area and soooo many people are like me and can't work it. You need to be able to add it just like you would if you were creating a room so that you can also grab the sides to to resize it (like a room can be). I hate it!!@ Homestyler Official

Could you make a tutorial to show how exactly it is supposed to work ? The thing just never clicks... so crazy that you have built such a powerful tool and a not working tool for the garden... @ Homestyler Official

Just draw it around the house you are building, then you could build the grassland around your house. And when you render the exterior you could put the camera within the grassland area, then you render would be looked like being taken from the ground, instead of looking into the air.

The outside area just helps you create stuff like grass and outdoor pathways. I personally don't use it too much, maybe in one or two projects, but it has its use. I personally find it semi hard to use, but you kind of get the hang of it after a little messing with it.
