Dear Colleagues,

I am decorating the kitchen which is of trapezoidal shape.

Do you have any ideas how to minimize the effect of this kind of shape?

I am enclosing the link to the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets needs to stay where they are due to installations.

The floor is not yet completed so I have a freedom to choose best solution to optically minimise the trapezoidal impression.

Thank you! I was looking for ideas on how to optically minimize the effect of the trapezoid. It seems good idea to do it with proper layout of the floor tilings, but I have no experience of w hat would be the best pattern to minimize the trapezoidal shape. Hi I checked your design and it seems reasonable so far. Do you mean the gap between the cabinet and the wall for the trapezoidal-shaped kitchen?
