Hi, I couldn't figure out this! When you push down the sink it it's place on the countertop, the surface material of the countertop, for example black marble, becomes visible on the upper surface of the sink. So let's assume that the sink is steel, metallic grey, having black marble covering the sink spaces. What can I do to clean that covers and see the inside form of the sink. (Sink or another material, I have added a graphic to explain better) Sincerely, Raif Guven

Short guide 1) Edit base cabinet; 2) Delete the upper surface, or sink that you want to replace; 3) Close furniture customization; 4) Open model library; 5) Find your sink model; 6) Place it in the correct position in your base cabinet; 7) Group base cabinet with your new sink; 8) Generate the countertop.

@Alex unfortunately, this seams not to work anymore (v5). When I follow your tutorial, the sink jumps on top of the countertop. Is there another solution? I assume this is a common task.. @ Alex

Before you start, turn off the water supply to the kitchen sink. Usually, there are shut-off valves under the sink. Turn both the hot and cold water supplies off. https://smartlivingandtechnology.com/

I hope you already found the answer but maybe someone still search (because I did for few hours:D). So you have to install the sink to the cabin first and only then add countertop. It will fit to your sink and will be fully visible.

perhaps you would like to explore the custom modelling mode under the *Customize* tab on your left. Choose Others/ Feature Wall (does not really matter). Then start creating the countertop surface while leaving a 'hole' in the middle to accommodate your sink. (remember to enable grid snap)
