Dear Friend, How can I import one of my own painting into Homestyler to hang on the wall of my home design? I have tried the 2D upload and eventually I had the picture in my collection file, but because a selection between texture and tile is a must at upload editing, when I try to put the painting on the wall, I have received a wall full of that picture in form of tile application. Is there any other way to import an own picture into Homestyler and use in designing? Thank you in advance for your prompt reply. Sincerely, Raif Guven

You can measure the actual wall or choose a painting from the inventory that will allow you to change the image (there are several), resize it for the space you want. Then upload your image as a 'texture' using converted (cm=mm=inches=feet) measurements of the picture frame. Replace the picture in the frame with your art. Or apply the texture (your art) directly to the wall.

Not a great hack, but they need to offer better options, especially for paid members. PART 1: Upload your art Select "My" on left column Uploads Upload models/textures 2D models Upload image Texture Upload image Select "mural" under type PART 2: Apply it to existing art Select a picture frame/framed art from the model library > catalog Select the piece Replace texture The image in frame will be preselected Drop your uploaded art into the preselected portion Your art will be inside of the frame you selected. Not the best, but unsure what the other options are.

Hi Raif, I tried your hack, but my beam sticks on the seiling. How can i apply it on the wall ? And also make it 60 x 80 mm? As my painting is? Thanks in advance, Esther @ Raif Guven

My hack is to apply this as a material to a beam that I resized to a picture size and then place the "picture" where I want. You can resize how the "material" is laid over the beam so move it around and rescale it until it fits just right. I used this method in my designs "Rapunzel's Tower" and "Animal Crossing. If you'd like to check them out, I used this method for the mural and a puzzle and in the other room I used this for a picture over the bed.
