how to change measurements from feet to meters

Hello, There is no preferences menu under file. Very frustrating to be blocked already because of that after 2 minutes... Since 95% of the world population uses metrics, it might be good to ask which unit should be used, to set metric as a default unit or set the default based on the IP location/local setting. @ Homestyler Official
