I need urgent help from homestyler team

I did face the same problem when I used a selling beam on the project. Though the beam was editable when I switched from the PLANE 1 mode to RCP mode. @ Aq Sw

I used to do it like this. then I used to just set all walls to 65ft and then made all walls into partial walls at the building height so that I could add windows to second story. recently I took about 30 mins and got familiar with the add floor beta process. its not perfect but it is way worth it. nice to see someone else who has been in deep with homestyler as well @ Rivers Grace

Actually, the beam is easy to edit but after finishing and fix it at the position, the beam does not active when you click on it. In the column, the matter is easy but the problem with the beam itself. @ Rivers Grace

They are, it's just harder that dragging edges. From plane view you can change the width, in roam or 3D (best views for looking at the height) click on the beam you wanna edit in height and on the right you should be able to edit the LWH. Depending on the orientation, it will extend/retract from the top or bottom. If it extends/retracts from the top that is ideal, if this happens from the bottom try to rotate the beam the other way or just change the elevation accordingly. @ Aq Sw

Hi Grace There is good news. I made big progressing in the last few hours and as you can see in the attached picture. But unfortunate;y there is some missing commands; i.e. rotate the objects, copy the objects, making the floor hidden in order to see the walls at the bottom. Also, there are problems with beams, the beams are not editable after finishing the drawing. @ Rivers Grace

Hi Grace Good news. I successfully cut a part of the floor using ' floor opening option' as seen in the attached picture. My question now is how to add a floor for the second floor? , does the beam option is suitable? @ Rivers Grace

It will look like a floor but it won't work like one. In the picture I show you what a "second floor" looks like made of beams. You have to change the elevation a lot in RGP or RPG whatever it is, you can edit the size in LW and on the right hand side you can edit the H by clicking the tiny arrow like mad or typing it in. You can't add windows the way I have it don't here so you have to shape it with beams. The method I am using to recreate what you are wanting is very annoying to do and requires a lot of altering and messing around with it until you get it right. @ Aq Sw

Can I use the beam category to make it as a floor?, after edit LWH? @ Rivers Grace

Ok scratch that idea. Use beams entirely. You can't change the elevation for outdoor area.... :| @ Rivers Grace

Maybe don't make a second floor at all... Just use the outdoor area tool to make a "floor" then change the elevation. Use beams instead of walls and you should be able to edit/cut/add floor/walls to your "second floor" however you need to. @ Aq Sw

Hi Grace Thank you so much for your frequent responses. There is no beam added with this design. I followed your recommendation you recently advised me about but unfortunately, the attempts have been unsuccessfully done. As you can see, the floor, where circled with blue color, is made already with the second floor. I am facing many problems regarding editing the flooring geometries, I can not remove or add specific areas from this floor (or bacony) @ Rivers Grace
