Actually, I just double checked myself. In fact, when one votes, one doesn't see who the designer is until selected between the 2 options. So I don't agree that groups are "voting for their friends" or such favoritism can be justified.

While your purpose may be well intended you still have the same problem of “groups” voting for their friends. The only way to get a fair evaluation is to have judges voting on the designs’ merits not popularity.

It seems like the hashtags are a bit messed up. Cuz atleast with the coin centre it only works if you like the posts under ##OweMeAWinner and not #OweMeAWinner
