In response to The Art of Duplicate challenge, this design explores the delicate equilibrium between medical precision and human connection during a global health crisis. Utilizing Home styler’s “Copy Room” feature, the quarantine unit and surrounding hospital environment have been methodically mirrored to illustrate structure-driven repetition while embracing diversity in function and emotional purpose. The quarantine space is thoughtfully divided into three zones: Medical Hallway – This controlled entry corridor allows hospital staff and physicians seamless access while maintaining sterilization standards. Patient Isolation Room – Designed to support both recovery and emergency medical needs, the room is equipped with advanced hospital equipment and a private bath, fostering dignity even under strict medical observation. Visitor Area – Separated by a protective glass partition, this space enables heartfelt reunions through sight and sound. A wall-mounted telephone bridges conversation, while a gentle aquarium and thoughtful reading material offer emotional rest to family members. Surrounding these quarantine chambers lies the main hospital complex: complete with emergency beds, a general clinic, administrative offices, a cashier section, and a serene outdoor waiting area featuring a fountain and cushioned seating—blending clinical care with pockets of comfort. This entry highlights how duplication in design can enhance both safety and empathy in crisis architecture—where every mirrored corridor and partitioned chamber serves not only containment, but connection.
