

If we are a product of our past experiences, then the setting of where we spent our childhood and formative years must play a key role in who we are and how we perceive our surroundings. But how does that setting – our childhood home – impact our thoughts and feelings about interiors? Is it possible that it may have influenced our interior style today? I was born and raised, for a number of years, in a Californian bungalow on the outskirts of San Fran. Out of all the places we lived, growing up as a military brat, that bungalow has stuck with me and I don’t think I ever realized how much it has influenced me…from my love of vintage clothing to my obsession over the California aesthetic that I just can’t seem to achieve over here on the east coast :)
