#CafeContest Himalayan Sushi Café
Nestled amongst Cherry blossom gardens at the foot of the Himalayan mountains you will find The Sushi Café...what started out life as a humble traditional tea house has developed over time into a modern café serving a selection of local teas to plates of various sushi selections. The Café is divided into distinct areas... an entrance with small reception area plus two tables for customers. Through to the bar area .. this space also offers access to a more traditional section of low benches and floor cushions. Outside large gardens with pagoda, decked area and covered gazebo.
Entrance area with reception desk and a seating area with views out over the garden.
A lovely light space with traditional low benches and woodblock tables.
The entrance leads through to the main bar area.
Some of the walls have modern crane artworks in the form of silk bespoke wallpaper.
A view through into the main bar area where customers are already seated.
The entrance and front garden of the café
The gardens surround the café with different features and areas for the customers to enjoy.
The main café has two bar counter seating areas and a selection of tables with inset blossom trees.
At the rear of this area is an adjoining traditional space with cushioned benches, colourful rug and floor cushions.
From behind one of the counters the views across the tables into the adjoining area.
A mix of modern and more time honoured pieces combine to furnish the bar area.
I love this multi shelved display unit.... perfect for a commercial area.
The front of the café with seating area and glimpse the pagoda to the rear of the property.
The perfect venue for a quick business lunch.
Here you can see the intimate seating section with rug.. .floor cushions and padded seating.
Take a cup of Black Oolong or perhaps fragrant Orange Pekoe... in the soothing privacy of this area.
To the rear of the garden the green manicured lawns contrast with snowy mountain peaks and the beautiful cherry blossom.
The rear garden entrance to the café.
The shaded gazebo with floral cane furnishing is situated next to the raised decked area.
A pretty setting under the eves of the gazebo.
Raised decked area with various seating options.
Every view of the garden has spectacular views of the Himalayans.
I wanted so much to use a different environment and view with this design and that is how the Sushi Café grew into life.
With its unique and beautiful setting this café is now open for your enjoyment.
One of my favourite spots of the café gardens in the shaded corner by the poolside decked area.
Traditional artwork and fretwork doors are two features of theses unisex toilets.
Wow, Karen! What a gorgeous design! Inside and out! I love this whole concept and you have executed it to perfection! The snowcapped mountains provide a beautiful backdrop, the exterior structures and seating areas are just incredible, and I love the mix of rustic and modern pieces throughout. And that bathroom!! How cool is that?? You did a brilliant cafe my dear!!!

Здорово все продумано, особенно окружающая среда! А я никак не займусь внешним пространством - не хватает терпения. И еще не все инструменты знаю.
