Snow White.....
This design is an all white interior set against a frozen landscape. Silver and chromes have also been used to amplify the winter atmosphere. The blue/ white tint in some rooms hopefully creates an atmosphere of still serenity....and recreates the beauty only a winter environment can hold.
A small property, the kitchen also has a office area at one side. I envision the owner working from home. A spacious dining/lounge space leading off to the bedroom and bathroom.
an ultra deep bath to soak away the chill of winter. The bathroom is a quite mix of white. glass, chrome and marble.
the shower glistens with a frosted glass finish.
Touches of femininity and a hint of pink
with a frosted glass fronted wardrobe to replicate cracked ice, this bedroom is soft in gentle whites and a touch of neutrals.
sleep snugly in multiple layers of bedlinen. The throw represented a pattern of snowballs to my eyes.
soft fur rugs bring warmth underfoot whilst adding texture and a hint of colour.
every bedroom deserves a fireplace .... especially in midwinter
small alcove area with dressing table.
glass and chrome.. to represent the frozen hues of winter.
the main room is divided into two area.. one a sitting area and the other for dining.
a glimpse through into the office area.
the blue tints of winter seeps into the dining area.
the curtains throughout have a small twinkling effect like specks of ice crystals.
softly softly falls the snow outside.
the compact kitchen is located to one end of this room. a multi functional area shared with a home office space.
the bleak austere beauty of winter is enhanced by the large picture window, a backdrop to admire whilst working from home.
the glare from the all white décor and winter extremities may result in snow blindness... it often made this design project almost impossible to distinguish before the final photos appeared.
This location and at times stark décor would maybe not appeal to those wanting a little more colour in their lives.. but it was an enjoyable project to undertake... now where's the hot chocolate!!

This is so magical! What an absolutely stunning home! A winter wonderland! I love how you used glass doors and mirrors to add to the coolness, and you did an amazing job keeping a true white throughout, using different textures to create so much visual interest. You always excel with the white palette!

How do one find the words to describe a winter wonderland so serene and so delicate and well thought out!! The white space are so magical and so tender on the eyes and the small hints of color coming through is very special! Loved every piece of it and enjoyed the tour thoroughly! And so glad to find the warmth inside to guard against the harsh winter landscape.
