Great Question❣❣❣❣❣ Using a round model may be difficult to mitre and or close. The basics: Place the model on the floor, Use guide lines to create a square using the model as a guide. Then place guidelines from corner to corner on the diagonal. Draw your diagonal line and delete the excess on the model. Repeat the process in reverse to create the inside mitre corner. Fit each piece as you go to make sure that all the corners match correctly. I know there is no compromise for your vision but straight edges will be easier to work with. Good Luck.
