I have used Homestyler for some time, mostlly last year before the switch to the current version. I am trying it again for the first time since last Nov and have found it frustrating to use. I opened a design, that was previously converted last year, and  when I placed a new piece of furniture, I keep getting prompted whether I want to stay on the page or not. When I try to move the piece around in plan view, the display is distorted.

When this current version was a beta late last year, I noticed that furniture that was in a group in the old version would be skewed in the new version. Also, you could see this furniture in 3D mode only, not in the plan view.

It would be nice if compatibilty with ALL furniture was maintained between versions.

I am using Firefox as my browser, which I know is not the one you recommend, but it is a well known and reliable browser that I have, till now, been able to use for all other websites I use regularly!

Some other things that do not work in this version with Firefox include:

1. Moving forward or backward in roam view using the centre scroll wheel of the mouse.

2. Exporting anything.

The NEW warning that pops up frequently when trying to move the new furniture around or with other movements.

An apology,

My previous post said that the design was messed up and appeared to be overwritten. Instead, it is a screen redraw issue as logging out and logging back in retained my original design. Still, I hate to add the Chrome browser just to use this website.
