Breaking News: Discovery of entire community thriving and untouched by the apocalypse!Location: Confidential
The previously undiscovered and undisclosed location is from both past and futuristic dreams. This community embraces nature equally besides their human comforts. It's a farming community the mayor reported has no need for what we think of as police. There have been no murders and only 1 break-in in the past decade. A small team of peace officers investigated the 1 break-in, perhaps somewhat like a detective and lawyer combined, but also with too many differences to list. I'm told their studies reported abusive behavior rarely provided reliable information, so there was no brutal interrogation. Residents reported they trusted the process. Ultimate, they discovered it was an ex-girlfriend who had left an item and retrieved it, leaving everything else untouched. She was taken to a new home, and given therapy was given as she earned back her freedoms. She was released more well balanced than she went in. i spoke with her, and she said she regretted what she did but was thankful for the help. It seemed somehow they were an evolved community that my apocalyptic stained mind struggled to understand. In a community of nearly 2500, I couldn't help but wonder how this could be... was there a dirty truth lying beneath the surface? Was there a sickness lurking that they were hiding? It didn't feel like that, though. It felt genuine. Was it something about this hidden location that was magical? Made everyone rational and good? It was lush with greenery not seen for decades, it was possible....or maybe they just know how lucky they are...unless I move here, I may never know
