Solo home - 30metre squared living space
It’s super tough climbing onto the property ladder and many first time buyers relate their home to ‘living in a shoebox’. This very compact home shows that small can be beautiful; functional and however tiny it can be arranged to offer full liveability. In this particular home I have deliberately not built a mezzanine or any raised areas. The project was aimed at dwellers on a tight budget. A central screen has been used to divide the living and sleeping areas. A cheap solution which can be removed easily if required.

Decorated for a youthful vibe in a palette of sunny yellow. white and black this little home offers a living area with kitchenette and breakfast bar. Sleeping area and shower room with toilet and washbasin. Plenty of cupboards and storage and shelving.

The living area decorated in sunny yellow tones and what I envision to be a sofa bed offering extra sleeping options if required.
The sitting area is divided from the bedroom by a screen with glass panels to allow light flow from one area to another. Another small screen works as an entrance area from the door and partially obscures the kitchen.
A tiny breakfast bar is built adjacent to the kitchen.
The kitchen may be small but plenty of cupboard space.

A small table fits snugly over the sofa..perfect place to rest your cappuccino.
The bedroom manages just to accommodate a double size bed complete with draw storage beneath.

The shower room is undoubtably tiny but it has all that’s required.
