This complex of family-friendly eco lodges is situated within the depths of a forest conservation site overlooking a beautiful lake. Native trees and plants which serve as a natural habitat to the protected wildlife surround the eco lodges whilst energy consumption and waste are optimised. The main source of heating is the fireplace and the timber walls are highly insulated to reduce heat loss. Solar panels are used for electricity, water is sourced by filtering rainwater, and food waste is repurposed as fertiliser for the vegetable and herb garden.
