The cake shop was adjacent to a hall which is ideal for hosting celebrations like weddings etc. They kept the original features of the cake shop and set them off against the more modern lines of the hall. The enclosed terrace is big enough to host a party.
The front façade of the shop was kept in it's original state and of course it has to be pink!!
This is in the terrace that joins the two buildings together and where outdoor celebrations can be held.

They kept the grandeur of the original ceilings intact in both the tasting room and the show room of the bakery shop. In the tasting room they added this magnificent chandelier to add to the atmosphere of the space.
In the middle of the tasting room a fireplace was fitted and of course champagne is in order for any celebration......or talk of a celebration.
This is the one side of the tasting room where a tasting station was set up. The taste and style of this wedding cakes are more natural as you'll see in the close up shots of the cakes and therefore more suited for the bride who prefers a more natural wedding.

In this picture is the entrance of the bakery shop shown, with the display cabinet of cakes in the middle to show off the beautiful cake artistry available !
On each side of the front entrance are recessed window areas which was decorated with cake display areas to show off the gorgeous bakery to passers by!
They had installed wine fridges to stock a good selection of wine and champagne for any celebration to come!
This is a small seating area for casual visitors who just want to pop in for a quick cuppa and maybe a nibble or two. Of course they always stick around far longer than expected and they always comes back with a friend or two! Of course there's always the gift box of nibbles......
The traditional floor and wainscoting was freshened up with wall paper and flowery upholstery.
