American History Lesson

This is a map of the United States. Every item in the room correlates to something in US history. I hope you enjoy it. One more thing, the virtual tour has John Philip Sousa's American Classic, "Stars and Stripes Forever". The giant movie screen represents America having the first movie theater. It also has the Disney Corporation, which is also American. The skateboard, airplane, Basketball, and Disney characters were all created in the United States. The roses are my nations flower. Some of the more well-known inventions were the Pickup truck, telephone, and television. I learned many facts about all the inventions, including that the first refrigerator and stand mixer were made here. The most popular sport in America is Football. (my opinion) The Statue of Liberty represents freedom. It is a statue of great pride. The balloon arch is a tribute to Treb Heining, and the popcorn was thought to originate somewhere in New Mexico.
