The Wabi Sabi Café is a sit-in coffee shop and bakery strategically placed in a high-traffic hub, right between two high schools, a university, and a busy office park. Designed to be both study- and work-friendly, it’s a space where students and professionals alike can pause, connect, and recharge with coffee and fresh pastries. The café follows an open-plan layout, ensuring smooth flow and easy movement throughout the space. While the site allows limited window placement, mirrors were intentionally incorporated to reflect natural light and brighten the room, creating an airy atmosphere despite structural constraints. A warm palette of browns and greens grounds the interior, blending coziness with energy. These tones not only evoke comfort and warmth but also echo vitality, health, and liveliness. Together with the strategic use of mirrors, the design transforms a light-limited environment into a welcoming, vibrant retreat.
