A space that's all mine
Since the design challenge is to tell a story, I used this design to share a few details about myself. This design showcases my style and my idea of having a personal suite attached to my main house (for those times when I need to get away, but don't want to leave the house). This isn't a new concept, it's just something I've always wanted to do for myself. Each space reveals something about me.

The color of the wood on the cabinets reminds me of the kitchen in the house I grew up in. If I could modernize that kitchen, I would go with this look.
The avocado wallpaper is random but that's the point-I'm random lol. It's a way of showing that I try not to take myself too seriously all the time and that I'm addicted to avocados. The ceiling light resembles small plane propellers when they start to spin because I am currently learning to fly.
I started playing piano when I was 11 years old.
This bathroom is simply a nod to my style. I divided the space with the wooden dividers so there's a sense a separation but it's still open. The shower area is at the back with a ceiling rain shower system.
The single pendant lights over the sink and tub ties the look together.
I love soft colors, so I used them throughout this design. In this room, the door is one of my favorite things because of the color. You can enjoy both mountain and beach views from this space and that is ideal for me.
There are pictures of myself and my family on the wall. I am 1 of 7 siblings. On the wall next to the feature wall is my most beloved picture of my parents from when they were younger.
