I was able to take a simple painting and turn it into a full house. Each room is the same shape and color of the painting.
I chose this floor plan based off of the colors of a Piet Mondrian I saw. It included one big orange block, a bunch of small blue squares, and one green and black section.
Cover & Introduction
I incorporated blue in this room through the color of the walls, paintings, night stand, lamp, carpet, and other small details.
My only favorite part about this room is the nightstand with the lamp, candle, and vases.
I incorporated green in this tiny powder room through the walls, paintings, floor, and small plant.
My favorite part of this room is the whole thing. I love the way the curtain blends into the earthy environment the room gives off and the many paintings above the toilet.
The blue floor, walls, and painting of both hallways contribute to some of the small blue sections on the painting.
The blue in this bathroom is found by the walls, floor, paintings, and carpet.
I enjoy the way the floor clashes with the geometric carpet.
This room was difficult to make in order for me to put all the necessities that make it a full bathroom considering the size.
The orange in this kitchen/living room is found by the walls, floor, carpets, paintings, pillows, and flowers.
This kitchen/living room combo is my favorite room of the house with how open it is and how the blue peaks through the arches in the walls to add more contrast.
A small space was able to hold both a kitchen and living room to make an efficient cozy environment.
The blue in the foyer is contributed by the floor, door, walls, lamp, carpet, and purses/bags.
This room is bland compared to other parts of the house although when looking through the arches into the kitchen and living room, it makes it feel more alive even though there really isn't much to it.
The blue in the laundry room is found by the walls, floor, and painting. The glass door helps capture the image of the laundry room considering how small it is.
The hallway closet adds its black tones through the floor, walls, and shelves themselves. There is really nothing to this closet except for the fact it fills in unneeded space.
This bedroom shows blue through the walls, pillows, and lamp.
This room was too small for a real bed so it became more of a lounge room opposed to a bed room.
The view from the windows in this room are personally my favorite.
