Tokyo Apartment
This small 1K modern organic apartment is based on my old apartment in Tokyo. Open shelving is used as storage and a room divider to separate the bedroom and living space, whilst built in closets and concealed storage facilitiate maximum usage of space. Being situated on the sixth floor, the balcony offers panoramic views of the surrounding city.

Small entranceway with a stool so that shoes can be put on and taken off easily.
Bathroom
The entireity of the bath and shower are behind shower doors to prevent the rest of the bathroom from getting wet.
Kitchen
The entraceway has hooks for clothes and accessories, a magazine rack for letters and post, a bowl for keys and shelf space for other items.
The closet in the entranceway has space for shoes, jackets and other items.
The kitchen has plenty of cupboard space to store away food, crockery and cutlery whilst the countertop is reserved for kitchen items that are used daily and food preparation.
The washing machine is concealed within a cupboard with plenty of storage for cleaning products, towels, sheets and other items.
Balcony
The balcony has just enough space to sit outside and enjoy the view as well as hang laundry out to dry.
OtherRoom
The living space and bedroom are separated by open shelves that keep the space open and airy whilst doubling up as functional storage.
The small sofa is positioned to face the balcony doors to partition the space further into a living room and dining room or office.
The large table funtions as both a desk for working or studying and a dining room table with enough space to have a guest.
A large built in closet provides ample sotrage for clothing, accessories and other items.
