40ft Container Home on Stilts Using a single 40ft container, built on stilts, we use the roof of the container as a roof terrace and solar storage area and under the container, we have a garage area. The living area is accessed via a stairway from ground level up to the entrance. This level has a terrace running down the length of each side of the container. On the entrance side terrace, you will see the staircase leading up onto the roof area. This is the perfect place to store your solar panels to give electricity to the home.
