63 Follow For the love of green. This house was designed for a client who is undoubtedly, head over heals in love with Green. Green as a color but also green as a source of life. The Lucky Clover models was the inspiration for the design and the oversized living plant wall was begging for a place in the house. They had to use a very eclectic design style to accommodate the client's treasured pieces and her wide preferences. The floorplan is that of a double story two bedroom two bathroom house. The big living room was split into two separate areas to maximize the function of the room. This is the living plant wall where she wants to come and visit every day of her life. A selection of greens was used together throughout the house , but in a balanced way. She loved the wallpaper with succulents on. It created a feeling of life and nature and went perfectly with the living plant wall on the opposite wall. Big canvases on the side and with more seating. This is the split side of the big living room space. Gorgeous plant wall was created by framed textiles blown up to fill the wall. Throughout the whole house they used dark wood and with that the richness of gold metal as accents. On the backside of the plant wall is this fireplace. Ideal for cozy moments in the green cocoon. The wall at the back of the fireplace was covered with the most exotic green mosaic tiles, almost like moss against a tree. Again gold was used as a preferred metal finish. This is all the angles of the second bathroom, showing off the beautiful green mosaic wall wand the green cabinetry, paired with the freshness of white subway tiles. In this picture you can see the full glory of the shining star in the room. The collection of greens married in one room.....and working so well together. The shining star of the master bedroom is the gorgeous collage wallpaper on the feature wall. Using that as the jump off point, everything else was kept fairly neutral. This is the full view of the front door as seen from the stairwell. See the lovely designs on the pillows. Art images plays a big role in this house with it's eclectic collection of furniture and décor items. The stairwell was designed to have storage and a lovely seating built in underneath. Enough storage for a comfortable stay. For this room, this painting was the hero! To open your eyes and see this amazing portrait before you is priceless! This is the second bedroom on the top floor. A little bit of whimsy with rabbits on the wall and teddy sitting and waiting for bedtime. This client has a very eclectic sense of styling her house. With classic wallpaper in modern colors, art deco shapes and more contemporary modern lines.....all with one factor and that is green! The wine cabinet on one side conveniently there for the host to serve drinks at the table. White dinner services and good crystal glasses......decadent and rich! This is the different angles from the dining room. Formal and ready for a dinner party. Flowers, crystal glasses, wine cabinet fully stocked. This is the story that the entrance to this house is telling you. It's preparing you to be prepared not for just an ordinary space....but for something really different and really special! Is it a green kitchen? Yes it is! but not a green kitchen you have ever seen! Enjoy the different views and angles of the space, and feel the freshness and happiness that comes with it! An here, in full glory the gorgeous freestanding bath with living plant wall! Backlighting at the mirrors and the extra wall light create the most wonderful mood lighting in the space. The master bathroom had to continue the story of the extraordinary wallpaper in the master bedroom. The color scheme was chosen to continue and compliment it.....with rich, deep gold tones! This is the little walkway where the staircase opens into the top floor. Extra seating by the windows for a lovely outside view.
