The client for this garden cottage was imagined as a single woman, in her forties and wanting a small, manageable space, but with a romantic flair and all the luxuries in place. So this is a one bedroom cottage with two living areas and a separate kitchen. The master bedroom is spacious and has a wonderful dressing room attached. An extra cloak room was added for guests.
The brickwork from the outside was continued on some walls inside the space. They color washed the bricks in white to keep an open and airy feeling and used big windows for maximum light.
