Pippa's Place. Café at the coast.
The challenge for this design was to think a bit beyond the residential property and to create a restaurant/café. This café was placed in a quiet street in an old coastal town. There are lovely street views and the ocean is just a stone throw away. The building was an old industrial warehouse and thus the style used was industrial with a vintage flair. Different seating areas was created inside, each with a character of it's own.
The big entrance door......open and welcoming!

This is a view from the outside of the building. Plants was used to define the front entrance and to create some softness from the harshness of the paved roads.

The ladies bathroom. With soft and feminine touches. Big mirrors used to enhance the space. Lovely toiletries for the patrons of the restaurant .

On the opposite wall, by the door of the kitchen, is the running station for fresh crockery. There you'll find a collection of different styles and colors of dinner service...but all very stylish and complimentary of each other.

The table setting from closeup.....elegant and gorgeous.....and perfect for the green in the stag wallpaper.

The effect of the stag head wall paper is so striking. And the favorite seating area for bigger groups of friends who love to put the tables together and make a night of it! The bar area conveniently close by.

Right at the back of the restaurant is this seating area. The wallpaper with the stag heads was custom made and was again highlighted with the clever use of empty frames in certain areas. A collection of vintage paintings to round off the picture.

Walking down the runway....to the kitchen right at the end!

In the middle section of the restaurant is this island. It has lots of seating....for having a drink while waiting on a table....or just having a drink with a friend. The bar area at the back wall is decorated with vintage signs that was collected over the years.....and lighted for extra effect.

Parking your bike right there on the outside....grab a coffee and off you go!

In the front of the café is this corner which they call the golden vintage corner. It has comfortable couch seating for the patrons who wants to have their tea in style.

White and pink roses.....and tea!! Find your inspiration in the decor magazines left on the table.....almost like home!

The golden vintage corner seen between the big columns that run through the middle of the length of the space......creating wonderful moments of privacy but also grandeur. The wallpaper was custom made for Pippa's, made up of favorite pictures taken over years. The golden mirror collection special.

This is where you sit for the quick quick coffee on the go......reading the headlines of the paper...maybe have a quick breakfast! And please don't miss the views out on the ocean..

The industrial seating area was created from old building material that came out of the renovation.

In the front of the restaurant.....

Breakfast is served......pancakes and berries!

This is the first seating area also in the front of the café....where breakfast was served. The theme of the wallpaper was focused on a journaling style where quotes and artwork and photos were put together to form a lovely collage. Empty frames were used to highlight certain areas of the collage.

This picture give you an idea of the runway that was created with the oversized columns.

This seating area is in the middle part of the restaurant with comfortable seating. The elegant vintage chairs was chosen to give that extra vintage flair to the hard industrial edges. Candles and flowers on the table...and the view out to the lovely old buildings.

The walls were decorated with vintage collections......stag head and plates out of the kitchens of years gone by.

The sun coming in from the big windows, so inviting. But if you think it might get too hot....there is an air conditioning system in place overhead.

This is to show how decadent and elegant the table was set for a cake tasting. In this space vintage rules...which can be seen in the different styles of crockery that was chosen for serving.

This is the big reveal......when you enter the café.....look to the side and you'll find the name of this place!
Pippa's Place. Industrial....but with a vintage flair! Rustic....but with the elegance of the high end style.
Open for business.....and always aiming to please and to delight!

These are just to show the entrances to the boys and girls rooms......to powder the nose....

This is the men's bathroom...and they are also spoiled with an elegant front area where toiletries are provided for their use. Remember to wash your hands!

Stunning!!! What gorgeous work you've done! The details are perfect!! This is such an amazing, well-thought-out, beautiful cafe. I would love to be a regular here, and I don't think I could choose where my favorite table would be. I am so impressed, my friend!!
