Translucence......inspired by acrylic furniture models.
She calls it her translucent house.....light and airy and devoid of color! She wanted a space where the acrylic furniture pieces could be displayed like pieces of beautiful art. Hence the double volume white walls and more minimalist décor. The technical challenge for this space was to do a slanted ceiling as demonstrated in the video tutorial. And in the process firs time building staircase from scratch!!
The little vanity area with full length mirror so convenient!

The single art piece above the bed speaks of love and deep caring.

The color scheme stayed white and neutral....with the lovely acrylic chairs, coffee table and bedside tables used to keep a dreamy and airy atmosphere. The sheer curtains blowing in the wind.....moon lamp on the table and the beautiful aroma of essential oils in the diffuser.....

And here a full view of the skylight! Feeling like a proud Mama showing off her baby!! To see the sky after a few unsuccessful attempts was like a major breakthrough!

Wonderful outside views in the fresh daylight! An to show a glimpse of the slanted ceiling with a skylight that was created as a technical challenge.

Different angles of the same space......and to show that there are more than enough seating.

The acrylic pieces was enhanced by using the glass globes as accessories. A more minimal and modern approach was followed in décor choices......and the fluffy rug was just a little bit of coziness in the space.

The sculpture of the Rhino were displayed as an ode to the wonderful species of animals which will become extinct if good care are not taken......

She use the lovely amber colored stained glass and lampshades to marry with the lovely amber colored acrylic chair.

The view from the top where one could sit and work or read the paper.

This is the view into the lounge where the slanted ceiling and skylight window was best on display.

This space is the upstairs loft office space. Again she used the acrylic and glass combination to keep the translucent and airy feel of the apartment.

Glass shelves was used on the edge of the loft to serve as an safety screen and to provide much needed storage.

The kitchen was fitted under the loft area.

Lights was fitted by the stairs to show the way up.

Coffee is served by the island......

The space under the stairs was used to fit a little kitchen garden.....

Chocolate, coffee and cookie! Three c's that works for most people!

How light and airy and dreamy is this scene in the dining area!

Feel the cool breeze coming in from the window......and just drift away in the lovely air bubble that is this house.

She had to share a picture of this custom made lights!

This pictures shows the bathroom at every angle. And at every angle there is the beauty of something special.

I am on cloud nine!! This is such a divine space. The all white with the acrylics is stunning. And you did a sloped ceiling! A skylight! Stairs! You are learning everything so quickly and so well. I am so proud of you. Beyond beautiful!!
