I love anything that's designed to be comfortable, cozy, and country. I am mostly inspired by the show Fixer Upper... and I really wanted to try designing a house by myself! I gave it a try and here's what I came up with. (BTW I am only 16 and just starting)
I divided the house into a floor-plan that flowed easily and made sense.
Cover & Introduction
This is just a downstairs bathroom... but I put a lot of effort in it. I love this green, so I decided to use it as a vanity and add black touches (to make it more industrial).
I love this vanity, the olive green adds to the country look I was trying to accomplish.
I did a light colored flooring to better match the room.
I love this window!!! It gives a bunch of natural light from outside and makes it look cozy inside.
I designed this to be a kids office... got the idea because so many kids have to stay home and do school because of COVID-19.
I love this fish tank!
I added natural wood and yellow paint to balance the heavy black.
This is the front entryway and I added hooks, baskets, and a table for plenty of storage.
A look into the living room...
My favorite room of the house. Perfect to snuggle up into a blanket to watch a movie, or, just read a book!
A look into the dining room...
A big fireplace to keep the house warm, especially when it's cold outside.
A modern but country kitchen, plenty of space, but not too big. I also added a breakfast nook so you don't have to eat in the dining room.
I love white cabinets, brick, and a spacious island, so I put them all together!
The barn door adds a lot of character.
I love a fancy dining room. It adds a bit of grandeur to the house.
Thank you for looking at my country design... I am working on the upstairs!!!
I added all the horse items to the house because it ties in with the farm look. At the same time, I did it because horses are a part of my life.
