Kai wanted to update her home in the Scandinavian style, with a limited color scheme in neutral colors. She also wanted the use of natural elements like wood and plants to fill the spaces.
The floorplan was created with the main focus on living spaces.
Cover & Introduction
Swimming with the fishes.....a spacious cloakroom at the front of the house for the convenience of guests. And the start of natural wood elements that are used in every room.
The closet every woman dreams about. Enough storage and a dressing table for that perfect day routine.
The use of natural wood and natural colors......and the richness of dark natural wood cladding and decking which was aged by the many seasons in the snow.
This is the perfect little spot to enjoy a small moment in the sun in spite of the winter white weather.
The picture on the wall says it all.......for the love of nature!
Smell the freshness of pine kernels and feel the coziness of an wood fire....the welcoming feel of natural wood cladding......
The built-in benches makes for comfortable seating....and how teddy is enjoying the swing seat!
When the winter is too cold outside.......find this enclosed patio with the widest windows possible for the best view to the outside.

Soaker tub and a shower.....
Black penny rounds.....light wood.....elegance
This space was reserved for a small TV lounge in the front of the house. She loves the neutral color scheme and the natural wood cladding on the walls. The highlight of the space is the big mural against the back wall.
Living and Dining Room
She love the reference of stags in the wallpaper, in the textiles and on the walls.
hmmmmm.....floating pillows......and looks like floating artwork........
The main living space in the middle of the house. She loves the wood burning stove which brings so much warmth in the space.....
The main event in this big and spacious bedroom is the magic of the wallpaper behind the bed. The magic of the woods.....and how one could disappear in there in your dreams. And again all the natural wood elements used so well together.
