20 SQM first floor small chic apartment
In the Philippines, finding a perfect spot in the city, and purchasing it can be challenging and expensive. So, instead of looking for a new place, I decided to upgrade the old ancestral space of my mom that goes way back in the 1800's. It is 20 sqm, and therefore it's important to utilize each area carefully. Of course, it must look chic too, and that's why I decided on using dark green, natural wood & stark white as the main colors paired with pink, royal blue, and glossy accents. The living room is 14.15 sq m only, and it also serves as the sleeping & dining areas, so there are elevated bunk beds and a small dining space. For the 2.39 sq m kitchen, the furniture pieces are at the corner, while the 1.84 sq m bathroom has a shower & toilet.

I love the colors in the paintings which connects with the color of the wall too!

Simple, compact, and fuctional!

This is the view when looking outside the kitchen. Look at that beautiful pipe lights!

Bird's eye view of the kitchen.

Here's the kitchen that has everything that we need: A sink, counter, cabinets, and the humongous oven range.

View from the top

There are many lights in this room.

Let's talk about the stars!!! and the little flags! They serve as nightlights!

Obviously, my pup is loving the view.

Look at those framed doggo photo with a personal wall lamp for my pup.

The little dining nook with a beautiful area rug!

The perfect view!

This image showcases the first top bunk that's specifically designed for my mother.

Look at that little clothing hangers next to the mirror, isn't it functional and chic at the same time?

I wanted to showcase the full-length mirror that's behind the door, so anyone can check themselves before leaving.

I chose this as my cover image because I love the natural sunlight that strikes the tiled stairs, and the little dining nook that has accompanying lights. And did I mention the wine rack?

I really love the touch of royal blue in this image, and the useful personal office space for my freelance works. Also, it can be a study area.

Don't be shocked by the crib, it's just a placeholder for a dog cage, since I can't seem to find one. It's cute though, since I am a furmama.

Color scheme: dark green with the touch of natural wood and gold accents
Highlight: The glorious beautiful mirror that serves as my sign: the Sun

The color of the tiles coordinates with the ones in the kitchen.
