Small Condo front living spaceA small condo living space with a styles including; French, Modern, Contemporary, and Rustic. The owner is a younger, ambitious woman striving to change her business. The space includes styles that are more ambitious, but also release comfort and 'homey' feelings. (The space has a small budget).
The space is composed of 5 walls, 4 creating an 'almost' square, and 1 extending beyond the front door to suggest privacy.
The room is a "French"-modern style that I developed. Trade away the swooping ceilings and arched windows for a more 2010 approach, incorporating many different elements to create something different, and an image commonly not considered.
The brick wall adds a nice touch, but also gives way to nice design elements used in a smaller space.
The windows and the positioning of the couch reflect the need of light and relaxation. You could just as easily as curl up on the couch by the fireplace as you could have a friendly conversation with a guest; the possibilities are endless!
The space conveys a feeling of calm, while homey. The atmosphere suggests relaxation, but not "laziness".
