A Penthouse in Spain
This is a project for a family in Salamanca, Spain, that wanted to renovate a 100sqm penthouse with a 60sqm terrace into a bigger and comfy home. We integrated half of the terrace into the house. Thus, the house now measures 123sqm and the terrace just 24sqm, enough to enjoy the sun and friends.Floor Plan 164.71㎡
The biggest problem was the vertex (where previously sat the living). What we did was to place there the ensuite bedroom. Thus meant, we could move the kitchen and dining opposite the living room (now placed in what used to be the terrace). One the advantages was that the aisle was shortened.
