The Backyard
Design 3 of 3 of Rihanna and Friends #4KidsOneRoom challenge.Nothing makes the Quadruplets happier than hanging out together or with their friends in the backyard. We put in a huge pool for them to enjoy and a whole lounge chair setup on the East end of the backyard just for them.
The adult, ie. parents are a is not too far away but it gives the kids a little bit of privacy. But we can still see everything that they are up to with a clear view. The grill and bar and outdoor kitchen are near us and the large fire pit sorrounded by a circle of chairs is right in the middle of both areas
The kids love creating TicTocks and YouTube videos of their antics and swim contests. They even use the selfie camera to enhance their faces and play with funny filters for their selfie pictures.
Luckily, this great backyard offers the Quad Squad ample space to swim, roam and play and they are often too tired to want to go anywhere else after all the swimming and pool play plus the night air getting to them. It's off to their shared room and most of them end up sinking into their beds and fall fast asleep. That is except for Valerie 😄☺️😄. Oh Valerie, must run on electric fuel. She's the pioneer, engineer and most active slash energetic of the bunch.
Valerie is full of life and after a short rest period, we had to tell her no more swimming after we (her parents) come inside for the night.
This is because one time, when we had all gone to bed and settled in for the evening, my husband and I were awakened at 4 o'clock in the morning by pool splashing noises and giggling.
Yep, you guessed it. We ran out in our night clothes to find Valerie & our dog, Dino, playing & swimming in full bathing suit in the backyard.
Needless to say, we made her and Dino, get out of the pool. My husband nearly fell in the pool, he was so half asleep. I told Valerie to take a shower, put her PJs on & go to bed. And not to wake her siblings. They all had school tomorrow!
