It’s early morning in New York city,

And Grampa and Sven have decided to schlepp on back to the Lodge to face the music once again. Grampa has never walked these streets before, and is horrified by the number of homeless people they pass. Human beings who look so dejected, hungry, cold and hopeless it’s breaking Grampa’s and Sven’s heart into a million pieces. They instantly give them what’s left of their pizza in the box, and quickly set out to find a convenience store that’s open. They buy as many sandwiches and blankets as they can carry, and hand them out to the poor unfortunates, making numerous trips for coffee, bread, milk, and more blankets until their money runs out. Now Grampa might be full of shenanigans, and drive the management of the lodge around the bend by breaking each and every rule, but he also has the biggest heart of everyone there. The coming days will see Grampa trying to abide to the rules, in exchange for being allowed to go out each evening with Sven to bring food to the homeless. Others at the lodge have joined in as well, and each day the group of senior volunteers grow in size. Grampa, although having been a bad boy all his life, will surely have a spot in heaven waiting for him. #Not4Seniors
