Gorillas in the Mist. Wrong challenge wanted cin
This is based on a true story Dian Fossey , January 16,1932/ December 26, 1985. American primatologist studied mountain gorilla in mountain forests in Rwanda. She lived there the family she got very close to by pretending to be eating copying their moves , sleeping on branches which they made a fresh bed from branches.The big male who is the big silver back weighs at least 600 lbs. There are several females , young etc, She took endless pictures and named them as each had a distinctive nose. Her favorite silverback was Digit first seen in 1967. She gave him this name because a finger was injured probably by a poachers trap, there is a lot more but in her time she was able to get close enough that they could and would touch her,she formed a special bond with digit. Poachers attacked and killed Digit and many others, later killing her. Dian is buried next to Digit with the rocks around their grave joining them in death. Severely endangered there are only about 880 left. They are trapped for zoos which I detest and poached for souvenirs like hands , whatever. To me this a very sad occurrence, that these beautiful intelligent animals are hunted for greed as are many others .🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍😢😢😢😢😢😢
