Change to live poetic
After the wedding, this woman inherited the family home. The living room is classic, with heavy and antique furniture, often combined with each other without continuity of styles. For this couple poetic lives means leaving the classic structure of the living area, but changing to feel "at home". The woman is happy to be able to keep memories but furnish with her own taste.I show you the house first as it WAS. Antique furniture, sometimes combined with each other without taking care of the style. Heavy furniture, colors on the tones of brown, classic environment. THEN the living room as it is NOW: keeping the room classic but with modern furnishings and details.

BEFORE: This salon is the center of the house. The walls are high, the decorated ceiling, the classic furniture, but, as happened before, often the furniture does not have a continuity of style.

Keeping the "soul" of the living area, the choice of different materials for floor, walls, lighting and the change of furnishings, transforms this room into a modern and good taste lounge.

Now this couple feels "at home"!

Nice concept of showing before and after. Also the thought of integrating the style.

No problem! I also like modern things and furnishings! It just didn't feel like it belonged in that room (Might've been the ceiling 😂) But everyone has their own preferences! 😄

Thanks Grace for observing my project so carefully. I agree with you, the most "old" style is more welcoming. The fantasy pair I imagined is modern and wanted to make a more current furniture. Thank you for the observations, they help improve. He spent time to look at my project and comment on it, really thanks for this.

Cute design! Though, I actually liked the "before" better than the "after." The before feels very warm and cozy like something from Pride and Prejudice or something like that, whereas the after feels really stark and harsh in their contrasts. The bright lemon yellow with the pitch black and white and that lavender purple all together feels somehow less "put together." Yes, it is the same in style, but somehow the colors clash sharply with each other in an unappealing way whereas, sure, the antique didn't quite match, but there was a character and charm to it that better matched the theme of "poetic living." (Not sure I really like the half brick walls either) Still a great design! Just wouldn't consider the modern after "better taste" 😊 ❤️

:) :) :) Я знал, что вы заметили эту вещь - я думал о тебе, пока я это делал - это настоящие технические проблемы

l'idea è fantastica.
brava Roberta! 🤝
tuttavia, come spettatore attento, ho notato che hai smontato il camino e, quando lo hai modificato, lo hai trasferito su un altro muro)))) molti problemi tecnici))))
