Yes, it's really interesting. Also because Russia is closer geographically to China you perceive culture art and archietetura in one way. In Italy, as in the United States there is a large Chinese community that lives a China/European and is different.

I remembered the Russian film about Sherlock Holmes with Livanov in the title role. There, in the Hound of the Baskervilles series, Laura Lorraine apparently was a fan of the Chinese theme, although I don’t remember this from the book. But the bottom line is that it was very Russian-Chinese style))))
It's about how different mentalities perceive a foreign culture.
And it's very interesting.
